The Rainy Season

ジャカルタに来て５度目の雨期を迎えた。

文字通りバケツをひっくり返す様な豪雨。

たちまちジャカルタの排水処理機能はパンクして、行き場を失った雨水が路上に溢れる。

交通は完全に麻痺し、渋滞がいつにも増して悪化してしまう。

そういう訳で、なにひとつ良い事が無いかに思える雨期のジャカルタだが、

車窓から外の写真を撮るぶんには結構楽しかったりする。

Never thought I I'd experience the 5th time rainy season in Jakarta.

Jakarta paralysed as the terrible rain overflows its poor drainage capacity.

The streets are drowned by the flood and the traffic jam is nothing but awful.

However, I enjoy photographing from the car window on the way and back from the client.
